Privacy Policy

RungBot has no accounts, no sign-up and no server-side profile. The short version: your key and your trading stay between your computer and the exchange.
Your private key is never transmitted. It is used only on your machine to sign orders and authentication messages. We have no way to read it, and no copy of it exists on our servers.
What stays on your device
- Your signer private key, if you choose to remember it — held in Windows Credential Manager, encrypted under your Windows account.
- Your wallet address, application settings, window layout and logs, in your application data folder.
- An installation identifier: eight random characters generated on first launch and kept in your settings file. It is not derived from your machine, your wallet or your key.
What the application sends
- To the exchange: the requests you trigger — market data subscriptions, balance queries and the orders you sign. These go directly from your computer to the venue under its own privacy policy.
- To rungbot.com: an update check, once when the application starts, containing the application version, the platform (for example
win-x64), your Windows version and processor architecture, and the installation identifier. We record one row per installation per day, together with the country our content delivery network derives from your IP address. We do not store the IP address itself in that record. Our web server also keeps standard request logs, including IP address, for security and troubleshooting, and deletes them on a rolling basis. - To rungbot.com: the download request when you install an update.
What we do not do
- Nothing about your trading is sent to us: no markets, no orders, no positions, no balances, no wallet address. The update check is the only thing the application reports, and it carries nothing beyond the fields listed above.
- No advertising, no profiling, and no selling or sharing of data with third parties.
- No cookies on this website beyond what is strictly needed to serve the pages.
Removing your data
Use "forget" in the connect window to delete the stored key, or uninstall the application and delete its folder under %AppData%\RungBot.App. Deleting the settings file also clears the installation identifier, and the next launch generates a new one. We hold no account and no name, so the update records are the only thing on our side; send us the identifier from your settings file and we will delete the rows that carry it.
